These are not the same offer, they are not alternative descriptions of one offer, and you cannot claim both as a single package. If you read a page somewhere that presents "A$5,000" and "A$30,000" as though they were the same bonus, that page has merged two unrelated promotions and everything downstream of it is unreliable. Reading the match percentage

A 120% match means the operator adds 120% of your deposit as bonus funds, up to the stated cap. Deposit A$200 and you would see A$440 in playable balance: your own A$200, plus A$240 in bonus money. The two halves behave differently, and this is the part that catches people out.

Your own deposit is generally withdrawable at any time — although withdrawing it early usually voids the bonus and anything won with it. The bonus portion is not real money yet. It sits behind a wagering requirement, and until that requirement is cleared it is a playable credit rather than a balance you own. Reaching the A$5,000 cap would require depositing roughly A$4,167, which is worth saying out loud because headline caps are written to be quoted, not reached.
